MLC

This manual was developed to provide the DMLC II for different Flag States.

It can be used in the companies shore office or on board each vessel as it is part of the SMS.

All MLC relevant parts have been removed from the (ISM) SMS and assembled in this MLC Manual.

Roadmap for initial certification:

Marlow Offshore/MOG will send you the original DMLC I
We will prepare the DMLC II (SMS & MLC Manual) and we wil send it to Class for "review"
The reviewed DMLC II will be send to all ships
Few weeks of self familiarization and implementation on board
We/Marlow Offshore/MOG will invite GL to conduct the "MLC Inspection" on board. It will take 6-8 hours. The GL inspector will then hopefully issue a MLC certificate.
Then, you must have in the certificate folder: DMLC I, DMLC II and the MLC certificate
In case of any non-conformities, we will deal with them the same way as with ISM/ISPS non-conformities.
There will be no separate internal MLC audits. The MLC implementation will be audited during the annual internal ISM/ISPS audits.

There is a 24hrs number available for crew to communicate with company representative with MLC responsibilities.
